Visit of the Prefect of Hérault to the headquarters of the ALTRAD Group

Altrad contribution to the economic development of the region in which we were born is a commitment we share with the Prefect Hugues Moutouh, who visited the company's headquarters in Montpellier in the South of France, this morning. While the role of the Prefect in France is above all to represent the French State within local authorities, he also contributes to the implementation of government policies, whether in terms of employment, economic development or the environment.

As such, we had the opportunity to present the scope of our action. As the territory's leading company in terms of net income, Altrad is committed to the reindustrialization of France, for example through the development of our historic production sites in Florensac, home to our original activity: scaffolding production. With its strong local roots, the Altrad Group employs more than 400 people in the Hérault district, and will achieve sales of almost 200 million euros by 2022.

In addition to the economic spin-offs, whether in terms of direct or indirect employment opportunities, or the international recognition of our local expertise, the visit also provided an opportunity to discuss a number of issues relating to our Group's values, sports activities and employee safety... and, of course, last Friday's legendary match!
